What to do in the South Bay, part one

When you live somewhere for thirty-six years, you end up with quite the collection of things to do in that area, so part two, three, four...to infinity are coming soon 😎

  1. Watch the sky turn my favorite color at sunset on the strand in Hermosa Beach

  2. Grab your best bud and head to Far Field Brewery in Lawndale for a beer; my current favorite is their hard seltzer

  3. Find the Redondo Special boat on the Redondo Beach pier

  4. Enjoy a short stack at Uncle Bill's Pancake House in Manhattan Beach. Trust me, it's worth the wait!

  5. Go for a walk in the sand section of Hermosa Beach and look at the cute beach bungalows; it's between 29th and Longfellow at Manhattan Ave

  6. Watch the waves crash from underneath the Hermosa Pier instead of up top

  7. Get your caffeine fix at Lucky 7 Coffee in Hermosa; try the mermaid latte

  8. Do a wine tasting at Uncorked in Hermosa; it's $25 for 4 generous pours and usually includes 1-2 international wines

  9. Grab a South Bay Local hat from my favorite local female-owned company, Esplanade Brand, at the Aloha Bungalow in the Redondo village

  10. Get a taste of Italy at Sosta Caffe in Hermosa; order a shakerato and a croissant
